Mondraker optimized the Dune for making rowdy descending laps, with an EWS-worthy 180 mm / 165mm of travel on the XR build, a 64-degree head tube angle, and mixed wheel set-up. Pairing this profile with the light and compact Bosch SX  motor and 400 Wh, the Dune is inconspicuously fast on the uphill leg of your lap. Is a lighter weight e-bike with longer travel incongruous? We don’t think so; our team clocked three hours of ride time in Lefthand Canyon on a full battery charge. And with a complete bike weight of 43.4 pounds (XR = 43.24 lb, RR = 43.2 lb) it’s easier to lift and transport than other bikes with comparable travel.
