The newest member of our team, Laura Jolly, has been a fantastic addition to the SG crew. Originally from the outer banks of North Carolina, Laura has worked in the industry for the last 8 years and moved straight into one of the toughest positions in the building: Service Writer. It takes someone with exceptional communication skills, broad knowledge, and a calm demeanor to tell a customer their carbon bike has a crack or their drive train is worn out. The term “shoot the messenger” is a real thing for the Service Writer!

Laura brings the right mix of technical and people skills to our service department and she’s often one of the people our customers mention by name as being great to work with. She’s an equal opportunity rider, spending time on both gravel and mountain bikes. Laura is a huge advocate of bikes as transportation and spent 15 years living car free.
