Brad serves as Sports Garage’s quarterback and defensive end. We would call him the head coach, but he prefers to be on the field with his team. The football analogies are inspired by Brad’s upbringing near Tulsa, Oklahoma, where as a child, he dominated the BMX track.

He and his wife, Elorie Slater, acquired Sports Garage in 2016, with the goal of creating the bike shop they had wanted when they were buying bikes: an attitude-free, off-the-beaten-path, get-it-right-the-first-time boutique, focused exclusively on off-road riding. Brad balances his bike industry career with triangulated passions for archery, van life and traveling.
