This bike impressed the pants off us. At first our Colorado egos raised an eyebrow at Parlee’s claim that a bike built just outside Boston was “at home wherever roads can get rough and rides turn into adventures.” However, during the summer of 2016 we turned our test rider – an awesome guy with puppy-like enthusiasm for steep mountain gravel roads – loose on the Chebacco. He came back a few days later and said only “Wow. I just kept going.” Parlee handcrafted this carbon fiber bicycle to challenge assumptions about traditional gravel bikes: this one is at home on long rides, on the cx podium, and on winter roads. We carry the Chebacco because the Parlee name stands for excellence. We feel like each Chebacco customer learns a dirty secret: these guys from Beverly, MA – who you may or may not have heard of since being founded in 2000 – are producing one of the highest quality ride experiences on the road – all surfaces included.
