Our mountain bike imaginations have been ignited by Rebecca Rusch’s emotional 1,200 mile journey through Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia. Join us on Saturday, August 19th to share in this remarkable story of cuture, conflict, and the bonds of athletes pushing themselves to the limits. Affectionately known as the “Queen of Pain”, Rebecca is among the greatest ultra-endurance mountain bikers in the world. BLOOD ROAD follows she and her Vietnamese riding partner, Huyen Nguyen, as then pedal through dense jungles along the Ho Chi Minh Trail in search of the site where Rebecca’s father, a U.S. Airforce pilot, was shot down more than 40 years ago. During this poignant voyage of self discovery, the women push their bodies to the limit, while learning more about the historic ‘Blood Road’ and how the Vietnam War shaped their lives in different ways.
