A sweet ’94 Dyno Nitro set up for flat land riding.

What's your background in cycling?

I started riding mountain bikes after high school in Texas.  Then, I moved to Colorado to experience “real” mountain biking and have been hooked ever since.

What’s the best thing about SG?

The employees at the shop are the best part of SG. Everyone has so much passion for riding and that translates into passionate shop employees.

Why do you work at Sports Garage?

SG is the best shop that I’ve ever worked at.  We sell great products, have awesome employees, and best of all, the Snap On Tools man comes to the shop weekly!

Why do you ride?

To get away from the stress of everyday life and it’s absolutely the most fun way to get exercise. 

Brando moved to Boulder from Texas seeking his own definition of the Colorado lifestyle.  Somehow, he manages to find time to ride between work and his classes at Metropolitan State College of Denver where he’s working on a BS in Mechanical Engineering.  He does a better Christopher Walken impression than Christopher Walken does himself.  If you’ve seen the dealer profile that Yeti Cycles did featuring SG, then you know him as the mechanic who doesn’t like “some sales guy” touching his tools.
