Alas!  The wait is over - For you at least.  Yeti's long awaited SB-95 is here for your riding pleasure.

Last season the Golden, Colorado based manufacturer released their all new Switch Technology suspension design on their SB-66 - an amazing 26" wheeled trail bike that you can read about here, and immediately rumors began circulating about a 29" sibling.  First seen by us at last November's Interbike, the SB-95 is the answer to that call.  As the name implies, the SB-95 is a 29" platform built around 5" of travel.  We had a chance to ride it in the fall and it was nothing short of amazing (read more about it here.)  Now that production models have landed, we couldn't be more excited to have them in the shop.

The bike was designed around a main pivot located within an eccentric main pivot that changes direction throughout the rear wheel's path, hence the name Switch Technology.  The result is effectively a dual pivot design that provides incredible trail feel while remaining agile and responsive under pedaling.  The bike does a fantastic job of isolating ground input from pedaling forces resulting in an efficient platform that feels active in technical terrain.  Climbing and descending, Switch Technology connects you to the trail in a whole new way.

Matched with 29" wheels and 5" of travel, the SB-95 is a trail bike that's ready to ride anywhere.  Equipped with the new Fox Racing Shox Float RLC FIT 34 Kashima, a tapered headtube, and 15mm through axle, the front end tracks sure and is not light on rigidity.  Combine that with a 142mm x 12mm rear through axle, double row pivot bearings, and a burly hydroformed alloy frame and you've got a trail machete that slices up singletrack like veggies for a julienne salad.  Ok ok, cheesy lines aside, it get's the job done in a real way.

Like the other bikes in Yeti's line-up, the SB-95 is available as a complete bike at 3 different build levels or as a frame only.
