Behold, the 2012 Specialized Tarmac Pro SL4. As if the previous generation SL3 frame wasn’t amazing enough, Specialized increased the stiffness to weight ratio on the brand new SL4 making this year’s Tarmac the fastest yet. Razor sharp and super light, the new Tarmac accelerates like a bullet.
Features like the tapered “Cobra Head Tube,” oversized one-piece BB – chainstay/construction, and a new wide stance seatstay design all result in one of the stiffest, best riding bikes on the market. Combine that with a frame module (frame, fork, headset, crankset, BB) weight of only 1995g, and the new Tarmac SL4 becomes unstoppable.
